In Ben's words, "I had been been trying to get in shape for the last couple years but never taking it too seriously. I Always put it off until tomorrow. A few weeks before the competition started a friend told me about the FM Body Transformation. It sounded like fun and I figured it was just what I needed to stay motivated and keep me accountable. I did some research and signed up soon after. My biggest fear after taking the before picture was not seeing any results for the after photo. I thought it would help quite a bit so The first thing I did was cut out alcohol for the duration of the contest.( I’m a beer nerd so this was tough.) I also paid much more attention to what I was eating and how much. In addition to eating better I also tried to stick to a more strict exercise program. After 12 weeks of healthy eating and exercise it has become habit which makes it that much easier to keep going. I’m healthier than I have been in a long time. I still have a long way to get where I want to be. This competition has given me the drive and the right mindset to get there. I think that is the most rewarding part of the competition, just getting healthier. When I signed up my goal wasn’t to win and I never expected to. I just wanted to see results, to me that is the real prize. I would like to say thank you to the FM Body transformation team, the contest was a great experience, keep up the good work! Lastly to anyone thinking about joining the competition next year I would say just go for it and good luck!"
